个人简介
I work on the synthesis, characterization and integration of two-dimensional materials beyond Graphene for nanoelectronics. I have a strong expertise on CW optical spectroscopies and I'm working to add new skills in ultrafast optical techniques, especially in the THz range.
My major achievements are the first observation, as well as it first intepretation, of Raman spectrum of Silicene and the integration of Silicene-based Field-Effect Transistor showing ambipolar transport at room temperature. This outstanding result demonstrated that it is possible to manipulate matter at the atomic level to obtain metastable phase with fascinating properties.
Recently, I started to work on both the large scale synthesis and the defects engineering in Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) such as MoS2.
I'm also a Basketball coach with a focus on youth teams.
