Bio

E. A. Curtis was born in Buffalo, New York, in 1976. She received the B.S. degree in physics from Duke University in 1998 and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in 2003. She currently holds a Royal Society research fellowship and is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Imperial College, London, U.K., working towards Bose–Einstein condensation on magnetic-media-based “atom chips.”
