Bio
Duong Quoc Hung (M’16) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical
engineering from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, QLD, Australia, in October 2014.
He is currently an Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Engineering, Deakin University,
Geelong, VIC, Australia. He was a Research Fellow at the University of Queensland and the University of Sydney,
Australia. Prior to his academic career, he was with a power utility as a Power Systems Engineer for ten years,
serving in a variety of roles covering planning and operations of distribution networks including SCADA systems. His
research interests include the uncertainty modeling, planning, and operation of emerging technologies, namely
distributed generation, renewables, battery energy storage, and electric vehicles in smart power distribution systems.
