Bio
Said Khalid Shah received the master’s degree in computer science from the Department of Computer Science, University of Peshawar, Pakistan, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of East Anglia, U.K., with a thesis on the topic of non-rigid medical image registration, in 2011. From 2000 to 2004, he was a Lecturer with the Department of Computer Science, University of Peshawar. In 2004, he joined the University of Science and Technology Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, as a Lecturer and then has been promoted to Assistant Professor, in 2012. After completing the Ph.D. degree, he joined the University of Science and Technology Bannu, where he was responsible for teaching various computer science subjects and as well as supervising academic/industrial research projects in the area of medical image processing and analysis, such as segmentation, visualization, and registration.
