Bio
Dominique Ouédraogo is an animal geneticist and livestock breeder with great interest in implementation of simple and adapted breeding programs for genetic improvement in low input livestock production systems as well as the use of genomic information for the genetic characterization. Since his PhD study, he is working on the implementation of community-based breeding programs for local breeds (cattle and goat) in collaboration with Austrian institutions (BOKU and Vetmeduni).
