Career Trajectory
Bio
D. in Art History, is interested in the conceptualization and management of cultural tourism. He teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels of the Faculty of Tourism, and in 2018 has participated in two moocs (massive online open courses) related to the enhancement of heritage for tourism on the platforms MiríadaX (Spain-Brazil) and Fun. mooc (Switzerland).
It has promoted joint projects between the university and the tourist and cultural sectors, involving both private companies (Montserrat Reservation Centre, Tarraconensis Episcopal Conference. . ) and public organisations (museums, tourist boards. . ), legislative bodies (Generalitat de Catalunya. . ) and international organisations (UNESCO. . ). It is also a founding member of the UNITWIN-UNESCO Culture, Tourism and Development Network, based at the Sorbonne University.
Responsible for the Multidisciplinary Laboratory for Tourism Research, formed by 33 members among researchers and collaborators belonging to 6 different departments. All his teaching and research is carried out in the Faculty of Tourism and deals with the subjects of management and conceptualization of tourism heritage
