Charalabos-Markos Dintsios

Ch.-Markos Dintsios, PhD, received a degree in Pharmacy and a Master of Arts in Economics, Political Sciences and Sociology from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany) in 1990 and 2000 respectively. From 2000 to 2005 he was working as a research fellow at the University of Bremen and the Hannover Medical School. He earned his post-graduate degree in Public Health from the Hannover Medical School in 2004. He holds also a Master of Science in Consumer Health Care and a Master of Health Business Administration. In 2005 he joined the German HTA agency (Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care) in Cologne, working at first in the Department of Drug Assessment and from 2007 in the Department of Health Economics where he became the deputy head. From august 2011 to august 2014 he was in charge of drug benefit assessment and health economics for the German Association of research-based pharmaceutical companies (vfa) in Berlin. Since September 2014 he is responsible for the Strategic Market Access Intelligence at Bayer in Leverkusen. He is also a visiting scientist at the Institute for Health Services Research and Health Economics of the Medical Faculty in Düsseldorf and at the German Diabetes Center. Ch.-Markos Dintsios is a HTA expert (Drugs and Medical Devices) with proven experience in comparative effectiveness research and health economics.
