个人简介
Dr. Dina S. S. Ibrahim (female) has been a researcher of nematology and biotechnology at nematodes diseases Dept., plant pathology research institute, Agricultural Research Center (ARC), having also the responsibility of taxonomy of nematodes associated with plants and identification with molecular biology and genetics parasitic interactions of nematodes with plants. The use of antioxidants for managing plant parasitic nematodes. Enhancing Systemic Acquired resistance (SAR) in plants. Also, has her expertise in evaluation and passion in improving the protection such crop from root-knot nematodes infection. Her open and contextual evaluation model based on responsive constructivists creates new pathways for improving induction resistance in plant. She has built this model after years of experience in research, evaluation, teaching and administration both in research and education institutions. The foundation is based on fourth generation evaluation which is a methodology that utilizes the previous generations of evaluation: measurement, description and judgment. It allows for value-pluralism. This approach is responsive to all stakeholders and has a different way of focusing. She has a very good experience screening and identification of soil microorganisms that have nematicidal efficacy, qualitative and quantitative assays of microbial hydrolytic enzymes, extraction and identification of plant parasitic nematodes, in vitro and in vivo.
