Dimitri Perrin

Dimitri Perrin received the Master of Engineering degree in modeling and scientific computing from Institut Suprieur d’Informatique, de Modlisation et de leurs Applications, Aubière, France, in 2005, the Master of Science degree in computer science from Université Blaise Pascal, Aubière, France, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in computing from Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland, in 2008. He is a Lecturer of data science from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, QLD, Australia. Prior to joining QUT, he was an FPR Fellow in the Laboratory for Systems Biology, RIKEN, Osaka, Japan, and an Irish Research Council for Science, Engineering and Technology Marie-Curie Research Fellow with the Centre for Scientific Computing and Complex Systems Modelling, Dublin City University and the Department of Information Networking, Osaka University Osaka. His research interests include developing new approaches to analyze, understand, and optimize complex biomedical systems. His work spans modeling and simulation, computational biology and bioinformatics, and data analysis. He is currently focusing on sleep neuroscience, gene editing, high-resolution biomedical imaging, and mobile apps for health research.
