Rotar (Gorchenko) Diana Viktorivna. She was born on April 22, 1979 in the village of Shilivtsi, Khotyn district, Chernivtsi region. She studied at the Shilovetskyi general secondary school, which she graduated in 1996 with an excellent certificate and a gold medal. In the same year, she entered the Bukovyna State Medical Institute to study medicine. She completed her studies at the Bukovyna State Medical Academy in 2002 (diploma RN #19269192). In the same year, 2002, she completed an internship at the Laperoni clinic in Montpellier, France. Since September 2002, he has been a trainee teacher at the Department of Microbiology and Virology. From August 2003 to June 2004, she completed an internship in the specialty "infectious diseases" and received a certificate of an infectious disease doctor (certificate No. 2227). Since the beginning of work at the Department of Microbiology and Virology, she has mastered the basic methods of microbiological research. She worked on the search for antimicrobial properties of new compounds of organic synthesis and nanoparticles (more than 500 compounds and compositions were studied). At the same time, she worked on the study of the microbiological composition of the microflora of various biotopes in acute pathological conditions, it's translocation in various organs and tissues. In 2006, she planned to complete her PhD thesis on the topic: "Intestinal microflora and its translocation in acute experimental pancreatitis" under the supervision of Doctor of Medicine, Professor, Head of the Department of Immunology, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of Bukovyna State University Sidorchuk Ihor Yosypovych. In 2010, she defended her candidate's thesis on the topic "Intestinal microflora and its translocation in acute experimental pancreatitis" in the specialized council for the defense of doctoral and candidate theses at the Institute of Microbiology and Immunology named after I. I. Mechnikov of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (Kharkov) (DK No. 0611484 dated 06.10.2010). Since 2013, she worked as an associate professor of the Department of Microbiology and Virology of Bukovyna State Medical University, in 2015 she received the title of associate professor of the Department of Microbiology and Virology (associate professor's certificate 12DC No. 041826).
She is a member of the Society of Microbiologists of Ukraine named after S. M. Vinogradskyi (member of the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS) since 2009. From 2011 to 2015, she worked as the head of the permanent student research group of the Department of Microbiology and Virology. Two students under scientific guidance won a prize at the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works: Malimon Sofya Oleksandrivna and Konovalchuk Maksym Ivanovych - 1st place, work on the topic: "Antimicrobial profile of TiO2 nanoparticles and their compositions with quercetin and anthrarufin", Chernivtsi, 2018. She is a speaker at scientific and practical conferences in Ukraine and abroad, where she constantly presented the results of annual scientific research. Actively participates in the public life of the university, working with students of various faculties. She improved her pedagogical skills at advanced training courses: at the National Medical University named after O. O. Bogomolets at the Faculty of Teacher Training - certificate #437; at the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P. L. Shupika¬ - certificate No. 78/12, certificate No. 1071, certificate No. 5067; was a participant in the Project "Supporting the system of epidemiological surveillance for HIV and the management system/improving the quality of laboratories of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, improving the use of strategic information and building the potential of public health care within the framework of the Emergency Initiative of the President of the United States to provide assistance in the fight against HIV/ AIDS (PEPFAR)", which is implemented by the State Institution "Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" with funding from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), within the framework of the Emergency Initiative of the US President to provide assistance.
