个人简介
My research interests were related to Plants Sciences and Sexual Plant Reproduction, because the plants regulate the reproductive processes splendidly, culminate in the successful seed formation which is a key event in the life of plants. On the other hand, understanding the factors regulating sexual plant reproduction is a complex biological process and currently an essential need to improve agricultural productivity. Therefore, a fine acquaintance of the fundamental molecular processes that finely regulate plant reproduction, will allow increasing crop productivity and high quality seed production,the most important source of food in our planet. Currently, I concluded my master's degree in Functional Biology and Plant Biotechnology with the theme "AGP25, AGP26 and AGP27: the threesome of AGPs involved in sexual plant reproduction in Arabidopsis", in University of Porto (Faculty of Sciences). I intend to continue work about involvement of Arabinogalactan Proteins in the plant reproductive process during my PhD.
