Bio
His primary research promotes sexual health for Black gay, bisexual, and other sexual minority men throughout the United States and has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the Johns Hopkins Center for AIDS Research, and the NIH. Currently, he is leading an NIH-sponsored multicomponent intervention to increase perceived HIV risk and PrEP initiation among Black sexual minority men. In the classroom, Dr. Dangerfield will examine concepts related to the role of misinformation and disinformation in U.S. sexual health disparities.
