个人简介
Dennis Hohlfeld received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Bremen (Germany) in 2000. His diploma thesis focused on surface micromachined ultrasonic transducers for frequencies above 1 MHz. In 2000, he joined the Department for Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) of the University of Freiburg (Germany) and received the Ph.D. degree in microsystems engineering from the University of Freiburg in 2005.
His research focused on tunable optical thin-film filters for optical communication technology. Since 2005 he was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the micro-actuators group and was also a lecturer on “Optical MEMS”. In 2006, he joined IMEC-NL (Eindhoven, The Netherlands) to work on wireless autonomous transducer systems and new principles for micro-power generation.
