The combination of his Geology, Petrophysics and Reservoir Engineering research with environmental and societal views, resulted into projects involving carbon-dioxide storage with an extension to the additional benefits of CO2-EOR/EGR and CO2-enhanced geothermal reservoir performance It also includes geochemical aspects on scaling and the application of foam. All activities are connected to field scale activities and translated to laboratory work with large scale set-ups and experiments under in-situ conditions.
