Bio

I am a General Practitioner with an academic interest in preventing vascular complications in people with metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance. My doctoral thesis was developing a conceptual model of the natural history of kidney disease based on smoking and glycaemic status. I have joined the University of Plymouth as an NIHR Clinical Lecturer and would like to establish myself as an independent researcher in NCD areas of global public health.
