Davide Campobasso

I was born in 1983 in Vicenza, Italy. I studied Medicine at the University of Parma, Italy, where I graduated in 2008. I completed my residency at the Urology Unit of the University Hospital of Parma (Chief: Dr Pietro Cortellini). In 2014 I become specialist in Urology, at the Modena University, Modena, Italy (Chief: Prof. Giampaolo Bianchi). During my residency I also did an internship at the Division of Paediatric Surgery of San Bortolo Hospital, Vicenza, Italy (tutor: Dr Paolo Campobasso), and I completed a fellowship in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery at the Center of Urologic Laparoscopy and Robotic, Clinique Saint-Augustin in Bordeaux, France, under the mentorship of Dr Richard Gaston. After the residency I worked as a Consultant for advanced endourology and laparoscopic surgery at the Urology Unit of the Parma University-Hospital. In 2017 I completed a 2nd Level Master degree in Advanced Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery in Urology, at the Division of Urology, Department of Oncology, School of Medicine, University of Turin, San Luigi Hospital, Orbassano, Turin, Italy (Chief: Prof. Francesco Porpiglia). Since October 2014 to January 2021 I worked as a Consultant at the Urology Unit of the Hospital of Guastalla and Franchini Hospital of Montecchio Emilia, AUSL-IRCCS of Reggio Emilia, Italy (Chief: Dr Antonio Frattin). Since April 2015 to January 2021 I was member of the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Care Pathway for Prostate Cancer for the AUSL I.R.C.C.S. of Reggio Emilia, Italy. At the present I am working as a Consultant at the Urology Unit of the Univeristy Hospital of Parma, Italy (Chief: Dr Umberto Vittorio Maestroni). I am member of the European Urology Association, the Endourological Society, the Italian Endourology Association (IEA), the Italian Urology Society (SIU), the Italian Society of Uro-Oncology and of the Green Laser Italian Group.
