David W. Sretavan

David Sretavan received the B.Sc. degree in physiology from McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada, and the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees in neuroscience from Stanford University, Stanford, CA. USA. He joined the Departments of Ophthalmology and Physiology, University of California at San Francisco, in 1994, where he is currently a Professor of Ophthalmology and the Vice-Chair for Research. His areas of research interest include axonal injuries, optic neuropathies, glaucoma, and advanced technologies that impact diagnostic as well as treatment paradigms for ocular and other conditions.
