个人简介
David G. Hall received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master’s of Science degree in Entomology, both from the University of Missouri, and he received a Ph.D. in Entomology from Texas A&M University. He currently serves as Research Leader of the USDA-ARS Subtropical Insects Research Unit, U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory in Fort Pierce, Florida. Dr. Hall’s current research assignment is the Asian citrus psyllid and huanglongbing disease of citrus. His research on this psyllid includes detection and sampling methods, basic biology, reproductive biology, chemical ecology, seasonal ecology, biological control, and vector-pathogen relations. Hall has held memberships in the Entomological Society of America, Florida Entomological Society and International Society of Biological Control and is currently President-Elect of the Entomological Society of America (Southeastern Branch).
