Bio
I am a physicist working on the development of advanced MRI techniques, with a particular focus on brain imaging. My main research interests include high resolution structural imaging of the brain at 3T and 7T, development of rapid imaging protocols to improve patient comfort and throughput, and the use of physiological MRI techniques to measure brain function and its deterioration in neurological disease.
I am based in the Neuroradiological Academic Unit at Queen Square, and work extensively with the Dementia Research Centre and the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging, developing novel MRI methods for application to dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases. I am a Research Dept Graduate Tutor, a Mental Health First Aider, and a strong advocate of equality, diversity and inclusivity in academia and society.
