David Duncan

David Ian Duncan was born in Irvine, Scotland. He received the B.S. degree in physics and the B.A. degree in english literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, IL, USA, in 2010, and the M.S. degree in atmospheric science from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, USA, in 2013, where he also received the Ph.D. degree in atmospheric science in 2017, advised by Professor Kummerow. His research interests include retrieval theory, variational methods, precipitation retrieval, and passive microwave remote sensing.
