David Delgado-Gomez

David Delgado-Gomez received the M. Sc. degree in mathematics from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 1999 and the Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from the Technical University of Denmark, Lyngby, Denmark, in 2005. He spent three years as postdoc in the Computational Imaging Lab, Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain. Currently, he is working as a Full-Time Professor in the Department of Statistics, Carlos III University of Madrid, Spain, where he combines research and teaching. His research areas include applied multivariate statistics, machine learning, and pattern recognition. He has published several articles in different fields such as biometrics, dermatology, medical image analysis, psychiatry and psychology.
