As a plant eco-physiologist, my interest is to bridge from observed pattern to a mechanistic understanding of the underlying biological processes in plants and ecosystems, and their interaction with the abiotic environment. My main research focus is on tree phenology and its physiological controls and climate effects on trees in general.
