My research examines how populations change through time in relation to stressors. Study systems include grasslands, crustaceans, frogs, fish and mammals. I am currently exploring whether CT scanning can reveal the microstructure of fish otoliths, eliminating the need for otolith sectioning to elucidate fish age and growth. I am developing an geochemical isoscape for the Upper Murrumbidgee River catchment to facilitate studies into movement and recruitment patterns in freshwater fish.
