Bio
Daniela Vintila is Associate Coordinator and Senior Network Officer of IMISCOE (International Migration Research Network) at the Centre for Ethnic and Migration Studies (CEDEM) of the University of Liège. She is also Maître de Conférences at CEDEM and chair of the ECPR Standing Group Migration and Ethnicity and of the IPSA Research Committee RC03 European Unification.
Daniela holds a PhD in Political Science from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Her interests lie, especially, in the areas of comparative politics, EU citizenship, international migration, political participation and representation, and social protection policies. She is member of the Belgian team of two EU-funded projects: ‛Social Inclusion and Access to Basic Services of Third-Country Nationals’ (AccessIN) and ‛Mobile EU Electorates and Democratic Participation’ (MOBILEU). She is also founder and co-editor of Migration News, an online platform for daily news on international migration, citizenship, free movement, asylum, integration).
