Bio
Daniel Schiff received the master’s degree in social policy from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, USA, in 2013. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the School of Public Policy, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA, where he studies the social, ethical, and policy implications of artificial intelligence. He studied philosophy at Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, USA, focusing on robotics and intelligent systems.
Mr. Schiff served as the Secretary for the IEEE 7010 Recommended Practice for Assessing the Impact of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems on Human Well-Being. He has published in venues such as AI & Society, Journal of Engineering Education, and AMA Journal of Medical Ethics, and Nanotechnology.
