个人简介
Daniel J. Lichtenwalner received the B.S. degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Missouri, Rolla, in 1985 and the Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, in 1990, under the guidance of A. C. Anderson and D. A. Rudman.
He is currently a Research Assistant Professor with the Materials Science and Engineering Department, North Carolina State University, Raleigh. He was previously a Visiting Professor with the Chemistry Department, Florida International University, Miami, FL, and was holding a Postdoctoral Research Position with North Carolina State University. He has authored and coauthored more than 60 journal articles and is the holder of one U.S. patent. His research interests lie in vacuum technology and thin-film processing, with particular emphasis in the area of inorganic thin films for advanced gate dielectrics and threshold voltage engineering for MOSFETs on Si and other semiconductor substrates such as GaAs and SiC.
Dr. Lichtenwalner is a member of the Materials Research Society and the Electrochemistry Society and a lifetime member of Phi Kappa Phi.
