Bio
Professor Dan Reinstein combines his extensive experience in laser refractive surgery with his background in bioengineering. He has personally performed well over 30,000 laser refractive procedures and is recognised for his particular expertise in the management and treatment of complications after laser refractive surgery in great part because of his research in developing and using the world’s most accurate micro-imaging of the cornea: the Artemis VHF digital ultrasound arc-scanning technology. Other special interests include the systematisation of surgical technique, quality control and quality assurance in refractive surgery.
