Bio
Damien Vivet (Member, IEEE) received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering and robotics from Polytech’Clermont-Ferrand and University Blaise-Pascal, respectively, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in computer vision for robotics from the LASMEA Laboratory, Blaise-Pascal University, Clermont-Ferrand, France.
In 2012, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with ISAE-SUPAERO, Toulouse, working on UAV visual navigation. In 2013, he became an Assistant Professor with the LITIS Laboratory, Rouen working in powered two-wheelers traffic analysis and probabilistic 3D scene reconstruction. From 2013 to 2015, he was an Assistant Professor with PRISME Laboratory, Orleans University, Image and Vision Team working on scene analysis and event recognition. Since 2015, he has been integrating as a Full-Time Researcher with ISAE-Supaero, Toulouse, in the Navigation Radar and Remote Sensing Team (NaviRReS) in order to work on scene understanding applied to autonomous navigation.
