个人简介
Dominique Muller is a CNRS research engineer at the Laboratory of Engineering Sciences, Computer Science and Imaging in Strasbourg (ICube). He started with a PhD in materials science and then turned to ion/matter interaction. He has been working in this theme for 30 years and has become an expert in this field.
He applies his expertise to the analysis of materials by energetic ion beams (RBS, NRA, ERDA) and to the modification of materials by ion implantation and/or irradiation. For example, we can cite his work on the formation of nanoparticles and the possibility of doping them by ion implantation or modifying their shapes by ion irradiation. He has also developed other processes based on ion beams such as exfoliation or the formation of 2D materials and more generally surface treatment using ion beams. More recently he has focused on the exploitation of defects created by ions for quantum technologies
His expertise has allowed him to be the author of 140 papers published in leading scientific journals, to be involved in numerous research projects (ANR), to participate in the organization of international conferences (IBA2019) and to organize national workshops on ion beam analysis (IBAF 2014).
