Bio
Dhruv Singh received the bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, in 2006 and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University in 2011. He was with Intel Corporation, IBM, and Fraunhofer ITWM. He is a Technical Staff Member in advanced technology development with GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Malta, NY, USA. He has over 25 publications in international journals and conferences. His primary interests lie in characterization and computational methods for coupled electron-phonon transport, phonon scattering, and thermo-mechanical effects in semiconductors. His current work in technology development at GLOBALFOUNDRIES focuses on benchmarking, design-technology co-optimization, electromigration, and self-heat reliability concerns.
