Deepak Dhingra

I am a planetary geologist with expertise is compositional remote sensing. My interest lies in understanding the impact cratering process and its products (especially impact melt) and studies of compositional diversity observed at large spatial scales (10s to 100s of km). I have extensively worked on wide variety of aspects related to Earth's Moon. In addition, I have also studied the water-ice/water vapour plume on Enceladus, one of the key astrobiological targets for future planetary missions.
