My main interest is in Parkinson’s disease with an emphasis on how metabolism impacts neurodegeneration.
I am exploring mechanisms underlying the effects of Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonists in human induced pluripotent stem cell models of Parkinson’s disease, and the use of extracellular vesicles to monitor and track disease
