Dr. Toe has a research interest of renewable energy conversion, focusing mainly on solar energy conversion via photocatalysis and photoelectrocatalysis. She is currently a lecturer in Renewable Energy Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Newcastle (UoN), Australia. Upon completion of her PhD degree in 2018 (from School of Chemical Engineering, University of New South Wales (UNSW)), she continued to work as a postdoctoral research fellow in UNSW for 3.5 years before moving to UoN.
