个人简介
Cristina Maria Dias Soares has a degree in Chemistry obtained in the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, a Master degree in Environmental Chemistry and has done her PhD studies in Nutrition and Food Chemistry in the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto. Between 2002 and 2004 worked at CERN, in the Quality Control Section. In 2005 went to University of Islas Baleares to do an environmental case study. Between 2006 and 2009 was an Organic Chemistry teacher at ETGI, Catholic University. Nowadays, is working at ISEP with bioactive compounds and bioresources. Among her main interests are food chemistry, bioactive compounds in food, essential oils, nanotechnology, natural personal care products, and entrepreneurship. She is a Member of the Portuguese Chemical Society, Institute of Food Technologists and Agricultural Associations in her hometown. As a future goal wants to have her own science-nature based company. Her main hobbies are reading, travelling, handicraft and cooking (after all the kitchen is a chemistry lab…) .
