个人简介
Cristina Mazuski studies how neurons in the amygdala encode motivated behaviours, with an emphasis on social behaviour. Cristina uses large-scale electrophysiological recordings from freely moving rats during social interaction to determine how the amygdala processes and integrates social information at the single neuron and population level.
Understanding how these computations take place in the amygdala will potentially shed light on the mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric disorders.
