Currently, I work as Postdoctoral Researcher at the Foschungszentrum Julich – Institute for Bio- and Geosciences IBG-3 where I also completed my PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Universitat Stuttgart). My research is centered on real-time soil/meteorological measurements and land-surface-atmosphere modelling for precision irrigation from the field to the catchment scale as well as on model-data fusion in hydrogeophysics with strong focus on precision agriculture and crop modelling.
