Graduated in Fishing Engineering at the Federal University of Rondônia (2014) and Masters and Doctorate in Aquaculture at the Federal University of Rio Grande (2021), developing research in the area of nutrition, food and functional animal biochemistry for the pampo Trachinotus marginatus and the shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei . He has prior experience in the area of Fishing Resources, Aquaculture and Management and participatory organization, with emphasis on organization and participatory policies, rural and technological development, use of natural resources and production in fish farms in the Amazon. In the postgraduate course he has experience in intensive RAS and bioflocs systems, working with the RAS system for the production and maintenance of Paralichthys orbignyanus, Trachinotus marginatus and Mugil liza fish, and with the biofloc system for the production of Litopenaeus vannamei shrimp. Its activities focus mainly on the following topics: ecologically based fish farming, food composition, bioactive compounds, functional animal biochemistry, functional nutrition, effects of oxidative stress on aquatic organisms, animal welfare, engineering for aquaculture and intensive production of aquatic organisms . He is a founding member of the Asociación de Ingenieros Pesqueros del Estado de Rondônia (Brazil). In addition, after completing his doctorate, he worked for a private group, in the development of shrimp production in the biofloc system, with artificially salinized water in the interior of Brazil, province of Rondônia. Together, he directed the management and production of native parts of the Amazon in excavated ponds. He is also responsible for the piensos factory, acting in the technical training of the work places, formulation, production and quality of the produced piensos. He is currently carrying out a postdoctoral activity at the Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain), assisting a protocol development project for the formation of bioflocs in the creation of the L. vannamei shrimp, using different carbon sources. He is also collaborating in the development of the project to use ecological diets in the feeding of shrimp L. vannamei.
