Claus Klingenberg

I have been consultant in the NICU at the University Hospital of North Norway in Tromsø since 1999. Since 2012 I have been the lead consultant in the NICU and also professor at UiT-The Arctic University of Norway. I worked 6 months as a registrar in Moshi, Tanzania during my pediatric training. I spent a sabbatical year in Melbourne, Australia from 2009-2010 in the NICU at the Royal Women's hospital, and also doing research at Monash University. That was great a time! My main research interests are neonatal infections/inflammation, neonatal respiratory diseases and perinatal asphyxia. I participate actively in the Norwegian Neonatal Network, and I collaborate with researchers in Europe and Australia.
