Bio
Christopher Marble is a seventh-year PhD student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Texas A&M University and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP) fellow. He earned his M.S. in Physics from Texas A&M University in 2018. He graduated Tarleton State University with a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Mathematics in 2016. His interests include nonlinear optical effects, quantum optics, Raman/hyper-Raman spectroscopy, and supercontinuum generation. He was a NSF INTERN visiting fellow as Los Alamos National Laboratory performing photoluminescence spectroscopy of colloidal quantum dots. He previously conducted research on femtosecond pulse propagation and the bioeffects of femtosecond laser pulses with the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory as a Consortium Research Fellowship Program fellow.
