Bio
Christine M. Hegedus received the B.A. degree in molecular and cell biology and the Ph.D. degree in molecular toxicology from University of California, Berkeley.
Her graduate research focused on optimization of proteomic analyses in human molecular epidemiology under the guidance of Dr. M. Smith. Following completion of her degree, she worked under Dr. B. Hammock at University of California, Davis, on metabolomic profiling in pulmonary inflammation and validation of an in silico model of the arachidonic acid cascade. She is now a Scientist with Investigative Toxicology, Amgen Inc., Thousand Oaks, CA.
