Bio
Christina Young received the B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, in 2005. She is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta.
Her primary research interests include the development of sensitive and selective mid-infrared FT-IR and QCL-based gas sensors for a variety of applications including but not limited to breath diagnostics, process monitoring, quality control/assurance, environmental analysis, and security surveillance.
