Prof. Chris (Christos) A. Vassiliadis (e-mail: chris@uom.edu.gr; Internet, http://ba.uom.gr/mkt; skype: chris.vassiliadis) constitutes member of the academic teaching and research staff of the Department of Business Administration of the University Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece. His research interests focus in the marketing of services and the management of tourist destinations. His research has been published in various journals, as, Journal of Targeting; Measurement and Analysis for Marketing, Τourismos: an International Multidisciplinary Journal of Tourism, Τourism and Ηospitality Μanagement, Journal of Tourism Management, Journal of Vacational Marketing, Journal of International Tourism Research, Journal of Hospitality & Leisure Marketing and the Journal of Tourism Analysis. Also he is for many years a collaborating teaching member of the Greek Open University in the unit of Business Administration and Organizations in the specific knowledge area of Marketing (MKTII) courses and also he is external supervisor & teaching staff member of the Open University of Cyprus. He constitutes member of Interdepartmental Program of the Postgraduate Study in Business Administration of the University of Macedonia (MBA and MBA executive program) where he teach different Marketing lessons until today from the year 2000. The above allocates a post doctorate title of research in the humanitarian sciences. He has participated in various international congresses; he is a reviewer in different academic journals and memebr of editorial boards and he is the writer of the following academic books: [1]. “The Administration and Marketing of Tourism Destinations” (in Greek, 4th edit.), [2]. “Customer Relationship Management and Marketing of Tourism Destinations” (in Greek, 2nd edit.) and [3]. “The Administration and Marketing of Events and Exhibitions” (in Greek, 2nd Edit.). Today he is part of external teaching staff in different master and bachelor business studies with research and teaching knowledge area the Marketing topic.
