个人简介
C. Kovacs has been working in the field of developing and characterizing non-superconducting and superconducting high-power composites and systems for 14 years. He received his BSc (2010), MSc (2015), and PhD (2019) all in MSE from The Ohio State University. In 2018, he was the recipient of a U.S. Dept. of Energy (DOE) Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) award with Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory as the host DOE lab. In 2020, he was the recipient of a National Academies of Sciences Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) National Research Council (NRC) fellowship with Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) as the host U.S. government lab. The sponsored research was in developing aerospace power systems and thermal management solutions. He has been an author on 16 peer-reviewed articles, presented at more than 30 national and international conferences and workshops, and is an inventor on a pending patent related to thermal management.
