I work on developing next generation therapies for enhancing repair in the central nervous system after injury or disease. Finding new solutions to these disorders is vital as they often have a poor prognosis due to limited intrinsic regeneration and inadequate treatments. I am interested in using cell transplantation as a means to improve repair, however, there are several technical challenges which remain to be addressed prior to successful adoption in the clinic.
