Bio
Jin-Ho Cho (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics engineering from Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Korea, in 1977, 1979, and 1988, respectively. He was a Visiting Professor with the Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Iowa, USA, in 1991. From 1984 to 2008, he was the Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He was associated with Kyungpook National University Hospital and School of Medicine. From 1984 to 2018, he was a Professor of the School of Electronics Engineering, College of IT Engineering, Kyungpook National University. In 2012, he served as the Chairman for the Korea Society of Medical & Biological Engineering. He currently works as a Research Professor with the Institute of Biomedical Engineering Research, Kyungpook National University, South Korea. His main research interest is transducer design for middle-ear implants, and other interests are including biomedical signal processing and sensor applications in biomedical instrumentations.
