Bio
Chen Zhang received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from
China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China, in 2011. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in
electrical engineering with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. He was a Ph.D. Visiting Scholar in the
Department of Engineering Cybernetics, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway, in 2015. His
current research interests include modeling and stability analysis of VSC-based energy conversion systems, where the
aim is to reveal the fundamental dynamics and stability mechanisms of renewable energies with VSCs as the grid
interface.
