Charles A. Wartchow

My current area of focus is early-stage LMW drug discovery, including fragment-based screening, small molecule (LMW) validation, and LMW profiling with biophysical methods including SPR, BLI, DSF, and Biodesy’s SHG platform. I am expert at the analysis of small molecule interactions with biosensor-based methods with an emphasis in SPR. I have experience with screening DNA-encoded libraries, assay development, and the development of biosensor-based instrumentation platforms. These areas are supported by an emphasis in multiple life science disciplines including organic chemistry (PhD, The Ohio State University), biochemistry and molecular biology (post-doctoral studies, University of California, Berkeley), and in analytical chemistry in a clinical diagnostics setting.
