个人简介
Charles Hildebolt received the B.S. degree in microbiology and the D.D.S. degree in dentistry both from Ohio State University, Columbus, in 1966 and 1970, respectively, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physical anthropology from Washington University, St. Louis, MO, in 1985 and 1987, respectively.
He is currently a Professor of Radiology in the Electronic Radiology Laboratory, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO, an Adjunct Professor of Anthropology, Washington University, an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor, Saint Louis University Center of Advanced Dental Education, St. Louis, and a Statistical Consultant, Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, Alton. His current research interests include determining the effects of vitamin D and calcium on alveolar bone, developing new radiographic methods for the study of alveolar bone, and the application of 3DCT to the study of morphometric variation among skulls, brains, and teeth of contemporary humans and fossil hominins.
Prof. Hildebolt serves on the editorial boards of the Dentomaxillofacial Radiology and Calcified Tissue International. He is a Subeditor for the Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology, and Endodontics.
