Bio
Over the past decade, I have focused my work and interest towards understanding the basic mechanisms of neuroplasticity in intact and injured brain. This has led me to pursue multiple projects involving the study of sleep, sleep oscillations and thalamocortical-driven modulation of consciousness and memory. More recently, I started applying my approach to regenerative medicine to understand how stem cell and biomaterial implants could promote repair and plasticity in the injured brain. I am the author of over 50 publications with a h-index of 18 and over 1200 citations from internationally renowned journals.
More recently, I have joined Prof. Gregoire Courtine and Prof. Jocelyne Bloch laboratory to lead novel therapy development for stroke patients in the form of brain-computer interface technology and cell therapy.
