Bio
Charles R. Eddy, Jr. (SM'11) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Boston University, Boston, MA, USA, in 1988 and 1990, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from John's Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA, in 1998. He is currently a Materials Engineer and Head of the Power Electronic Materials Section, U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. His current research interests include growth and processing of electronic materials, especially wide bandgap semiconductors, high-k dielectrics, and graphene. He has authored or co-authored over 220 archival papers and holds eight patents.
